Sails in the Desert Hotel

Located in Ayers Rock Resort, the hotel has access to many of the resort's facilities including restaurants, bars, swimming pools, a postal office, resort shopping centre, clothes and gift store, hairdressing services, a petrol station and medical centre.

The property itself is named after the white sails that crown its roof. It is Ayers Rock Resort's premier hotel. The interior decor focuses on Aboriginal heritage and culture, with a gallery in the lobby and significant artworks featured throughout the public areas and private rooms.

Features spacious and airy rooms. Standard, Deluxe, Deluxe Spa Rooms and Deluxe Suites offer a choice of one king-size or two queen size beds. The Deluxe Spa Rooms and Deluxe Suites have spa baths. All rooms have a private balcony or verandah.

Restaurant

Rockpool Alfresco restaurant poolside. Opening hours are seasonal. Winkiku Restaurant Open daily for breakfast 6:30am to 10:30am. Kuniya Fine dining incorporating indigenous foods in a contemporary menu. Open daily for dinner. Sounds of Silence Dinner Travel out to a private dining setting in the middle of the desert. Sip on a glass of champagne with the sound of a lone didgeridoo filling the air as the sun slowly sets over the Olgas (Kata Tjuta) and Ayers Rock (Uluru). Dine on a gourmet BBQ of Australian delicacies and then sit back and take in the mystery of the desert at night as an astronomer takes you on a tour of the clear Southern night skies.

Child Policy

Children under 13 years sharing a room with 2 adults and utilising existing bedding (including sofa beds)are free of charge unless a child cost is shown in the online tariff.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 72 hours of check in will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking amount.
No refund will be given for any unused services or early departures.
