Adventures of Crocodile Dundee

Day 01

Arrive in Cairns and make your own to the selected hotel.
Cairns airport is located within approximately 10 minutes drive from Cairns City Centre and approximately 30 minutes drive from Palm Cove and other northern beaches.
The rest of the day is at leisure or you may choose the optional evening tour.

Day 02

Breakfast at your hotel.
This morning depart your hotel for a spectacular Outer Barrier Reef Cruise - Travel to Outer Reef aboard a luxury air-conditioned fast cat. On-board presentation on the Great Barrier Reef hosted by a Marine Naturalist. A delicious buffet lunch is included. Guided coral viewing from semi-submersible craft and glass bottom boat. All snorkelling equipment and a guided snorkelling tour with a Marine Naturalist are included. For those who love diving - an opportunity to dive on the Reef (extra option).

Day 03

Breakfast at your hotel.
This morning depart your hotel for a Kuranda Rail / Rainforestation / Skyrail Tour - An amazing journey awaits you as you travel one of the worlds most scenic rail routes through hand hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges. View the Barron Falls before arriving at beautiful Kuranda Station. Spend some time exploring this quaint Village before a short journey brings you to Rainforestation set in 40 hectares of gardens and rainforest. Board the unusual amphibious Army Duck for a different look at the Rainforest. An experienced guide will show you unique tropical fruits, ancient rainforest plants and point out a number of our native animals as you meander through the Rainforest. Join the Dreamtime Walk for an insight into ancient Aboriginal and Islander history. A delicious barbeque lunch is included before visiting the Wildlife Park. Cuddle a koala, smile at a crocodile and hand feed the kangaroos and wallabies. A range of other native animals and reptiles are also on display. Time to return to Kuranda and board Skyrail, an experience which takes you over the Rainforest canopy with stops along the way allowing you to take a stroll or visit the CSIRO Interpretive Centre before arriving at Caravonica Lakes where your coach will be waiting to return to your hotel.

Day 04

Breakfast at your hotel.
This morning depart your hotel for the 2 Day Cape Tribulation & Daintree Eco Experience (Small group). Experience a personalised and relaxing day with fellow travellers who share a sense of adventure and a love of nature. You will be picked up from your accommodation and drive north along the scenic coastal road towards Mossman and Daintree. At Mossman Gorge enjoy a rainforest walk or a refreshing swim followed by morning tea. Cross the Daintree River by Cable Ferry. Enjoy a spectacular drive over rainforest clad mountains. Once at Cape Tribulation, indulge in a beach walk and delicious lunch at rainforest lodge. You’ll stay in a boutique style resort nestled alongside Cape Tribulation National Park.

Day 05

Breakfast at your hotel.
(2-Day Tour continued) Depart Cape Tribulation early this morning for a half-day 4WD tour to the Bloomfield Track. View the spectacular Bloomfield Falls before returning to Cape Tribulation. This afternoon depart Cape Tribulation for your return journey to Port Douglas/Cairns. Daintree River Cruise is included this afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel upon arrival.

Day 06

Breakfast at your hotel.
Make your way to Cairns airport for your flight to Darwin (estimated flight time: 2hr 30min). Upon arrival in Darwin, make your way to the selected hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure. Those arriving in Darwin in the morning may choose from the afternoon optional tours.

Day 07

Breakfast at your hotel.
This morning depart on a 2-Day Kakadu National Park & Arnhem Land Tour - Travel via Adelaide River and the Marrakai Plains deep into Kakadu National Park. Take a guided walk to view Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock. After lunch join the famous Yellow Water Billabong cruise to observe saltwater crocodiles and prolific birdlife. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative displays depicting local Aboriginal culture. Overnight: Kakadu National Park.

Day 08

(2-Day tour continued) Travel by 4WD into Arnhem Land, where you will cruise along a billabong and learn about the Aboriginal history of the area. Journey into some of the more remote and restricted areas of Kakadu as guests of the Bunidj people. Visit ancient rock art sites that are protected by a towering escarpment and hear some of the mythology of the surrounding country. Return to Darwin this afternoon with a greater understanding of the relationship between the Aboriginal people and their land.

Day 09

Breakfast at your hotel.
Make your way to Darwin airport for flight to Ayers Rock. (Estimated flight time: 3hr 25min)
Upon arrival in Ayers Rock (flights must arrive by 1:00pm) you will be transferred to your selected hotel.
This afternoon depart your hotel for the first part of your 3 Day Ayers Rock, Kings Canyon & Alice Springs Tour – a visit to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Explore Olga Gorge and watch the sun set over Uluru (Ayers Rock) before returning to the selected hotel. Optional dinner under the stars is available at an extra cost.

Day 10

(3-Day Tour continued) Depart before the sunrise for optional rock climb followed by sunrise tour. Enjoy a guided tour around the base of Uluru where you will see a number of interesting features including a walking tour to Mutitjulu Waterhole. There is also time to visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre before returning to Ayers Rock.
This afternoon depart Ayers Rock Resort and travel by luxury coach through spectacular desert scenery to Kings Canyon Resort. Drop off at the selected hotel upon arrival at approx. 6:30pm.

Day 11

(3-Day Tour continued) This morning experience the excitement of the canyon rim walk, making the rocky climb will reward you with marvellous views. The climb may take up to three hours and is for the energetic. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the boulder-strewn Canyon floor, an easier, shady walk.
This afternoon travel by luxury coach through beautiful desert landscapes from Kings canyon Resort to Alice Springs. You will be drop off at your hotel in Alice Springs on arrival at approx. 7:45pm.

Day 12

Breakfast at your hotel.
Make your way to Alice Springs airport for your outbound flight.
