Booking Procedures General
- Q: How does booking with Australia Travel Pty Ltd tradeing as Australian Travel Marketing (ATM) work?
- A: Booking with Australia Travel could not be easier! You can do it directly online, just by selecting your desired tour package from our website. Please check the itinerary, the rates and other details and then just hit the "Book now" button. Once you submitted your booking request, our travel consultant will attend to your booking details immediately. A reply with further details from our consultants will reach you within 1 working day except Australian public holidays and weekends.
- For any questions about or during the booking process, you can contact us via skype, E-mail, phone or fax. Once the availability for your booking request has been confirmed and your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive a tour-confirmation-letter, as well as a tour-vouchers and other supporting documents by email.
- Q: After I make my reservation, how long does it take to get confirmation?
- A: Once you have submitted your booking request, our travel consultant will immediately attend to your booking details and reply to you with further details within 1 working day except Australian public holidays and weekends.
- The confirmation date depends. If the booking of your flight tickets and hotel reservations are smooth, the confirmation can usually be given within one or two days. Our travel consultants will do the utmost to finish your booking request as fast as possible .
- Q: When is the deadline to make a reservation?
- A: For hotel booking only, one day in advance should be enough.
For booking a seat-in-coach tour (sightseeing-tour), two or three days in advance are sufficient. For booking a long tour (customized-tour), including several destinations and hotels, two to three weeks prior to arrival date are recommended. We never the less accept bookings anytime before the arrival date. But in that case, we cannot guarantee availability on short time booking requests. But our travel consultant will always be available to give you professional suggestions via e-mail, skype or phone.
- Q: What is the Booking ID?
- A: When you have submitted your booking request, our reservation system will automatically assign a booking ID to it.
Please make sure that in all your e-mails the booking ID is included in the subject line. Our e-mail routing system will then file it to the rest of the information about your bookings. Likewise, you should have your ID ready, if you want to contact us by online chat, telephone (call back service), or fax. The booking ID will help us to retrieve the current status of your booking process.
- Q: Is it possible to book a private tour instead of a Seat-in-coach tour? Can I extend my tour when I am already in Australia?
- A: Of course! Both options are possible. If you want to extend your tour, just contact us in time (2-3 day before your proper homeward journey) so that we can arrange everything. Please send us a private tour request (link to e-mail) and our travel consultants will attend to your query within 1 working day except Australian public holidays and weekends.
- Q: Do I have to take the Tour Vouchers with me throughout the tour?
- A: Yes, we recommend you to take the Tour Vouchers most of the time with you. It includes important information like hotel names and addresses and emergency phone numbers.

- Q: If I cancel my tour, can I get a refund?
- A: If you cancel your tour, you will get a refund based on our Payment & Cancellation policy. (link)
- Q: What are the possible payment methods?
A: The following payment methods are available:
- Direct bank transfer. (click here for more information)
- Credit card (Visa-card, Master-card). Please note: If you want to pay by credit card, there will be 2% service surcharge.
- Q: Do you offer discount rates for children?
- A: Our policy regarding discounts for children varies according to tour requested. When you post your booking request, please state the number of children and also their age. We give discounts on some of our sightseeing tours. For details please contact our travel consultant. Any child over the age of 12 is considered an adult by the travel agency and hotel industry.
Infants under 2 years of age usually pay only 10% for the flight booking, however there may be exceptions. Please ask for free baby cots for babies at the time of booking.
- Q: When will I be charged?
- A: Once your booking has been confirmed, we will request you to transfer a deposit to our bank account. The remainder will be charged at least 21 days before tour start date.
- Q: Do you offer any discounts for group travel?
- A: Yes we offer discounts groups travelling on a private basis. The group travel discount rates are depending on the group size. For details please contact our travel consultants.

1. Tour price:
All the tour prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD). Please click here to get the price in US dollar or EUR.
Price includes:

Accommodation in the selected hotel based on 2 persons sharing one standard double/twin bed room. (Full Breakfast is included). If one guest requests a single twin room, the single room supplement will be charged.

Meet & Greet at the International Airport, private transfer to the hotel, help with check - in by ATM representative. Itinerary briefing and time to purchase the Optional tours recommended by ATM representative.

Seat-in-coach sightseeing according to each itinerary.

Meals (breakfast marked as “B”, lunch marked as “L” or dinner marked as “D”) if included in a tour as specified in each itinerary

Economy-class air fare of the domestic flight if included in a tour as specified in each itinerary
Price excludes:
- International or domestic airfare of arrival and departure.
- Passport & visa fees
- Travel insurance
- Private transfers Airport - Hotel – Airport (except on arrival, which is already included in the package cost). Please enquire at the time of the booking.
- Upgrade to Private tours according to each itinerary.
- Optional tours
- Meals & service not mentioned in the itinerary.
- Gratuities or personal expenses such as excess luggage fees, laundry, postage, communications and beverages.
CHILD COST
The cost of the child is calculated based on child 2-11 years sharing with 2 adults in a room. The cost of an infant under 2 year old and child 12-17 years should be requested at the time of booking.
2. Booking Conditions:
When making a reservation for your selected tour package, simply follow the "book it" link, fill out a form properly and submit. Your tour request will be answered by our experienced travel consultant within 24 hours except Australian public holidays and weekends.
- Quotation & Confirmation:
Our travel consultant will quote you with a tour itinerary, but this is not the final confirmation of your Australasia tour. After you confirm the proposal with paying the deposit, our travel consultant will make the booking for you. Once all of your accommodation is confirmed, you will receive a formal confirmation letter from AustralianTravelMarket.com.
30% of total cost as the deposit is required at the time of confirmation of the reservation, which should cover our booking fee as well as the cost of the domestic airfares. If there is a need for a larger deposit to secure the booking you will be advised at the time of reservation.
Balance of the total tour cost is due 21 days prior to the tour start date. If your payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation without notice. If a booking is made within 21 days of the departure date, full payments are due once you confirm the tour.
- Rush Fee: Reservations made less than one week prior to departure will incur a Rush Fee of AU$50.
Changes made after reservations are confirmed may incur a Change Fee of AUD$50 in addition to any amendment fees charged by the suppliers.
3. Payment method:
Wire transfer: We accept money wiring. Please follow the steps below to make payment through wire transfer. - Find out our bank information either from the E-mail or below. Our Bank Information for wire transfer:

Payments in AUD$ and all other currencies (please note that the payment in currency other then AUD will be converted by the bank at the bank rate on the day of payment:

- Call or visit your bank. Don't forget to write your Bookong ID on the transfer sheet. - Please inform us in writing by fax +612 9389 6144 or e-mail with the copy of remittance advice to confirm the money transfer to our account.
Credit card: We accept Visa and Master card. For online credit card payment please select the Tour Package and click on the "BOOK" button at the end of the page, then fill out the Payment Details, selecting a Credit Card as a payment method.
Please note that due to the high risk nature of the credit card transaction, the name of the credit card holder must be the same as one of the passenger travelling. You will need to provide the Billing address and the place of the residence (if different to the Billing address). ATM may request the additional proof of identity of customers such as, but not limited to:
- Copies of credit card used for tour purchased from both sides
- A copy of customers passport/or driver’s licence
4. Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be done via fax or e-mail. Phone calls /verbal cancellations are not accepted. The following cancellation fees will be charged per person accordingly when you cancel your reservation:
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations received after the booking has been confirmed will incur cancellation fees.
Cancellations received before the full payment of fees is received will only incur cancellation fees amounting to the deposits received unless otherwise stated in the confirmation of booking.
Cancellations received after the full payment is received may incur additional cancellation charges depending on the individual hotels' and other supplier policies during the specified season. Please note that airfares booked as a part of a package are not refundable.

* If the Tour purchased falls over the Special event days, during which suppliers have strict refund/cancellation policy, our cancellation charges will be advised to you in writing at the time of confirmation.
4. Changes of itinerary:
For any changes you make to your reservation within 30 days before departure that affect destination, departure date, tour extension and /or guest names, a AUD$50 per person charge is requested, in addition to any other fees imposed by airlines, hotels, cruise. AustralianTravelMarket.com reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if flight schedule or any events beyond our control make such alterations necessary. If the confirmed tour has to be changed only due to the guest's own wishes during the tour, the guest is required to pay for the corresponding additional cost.
FINAL DOCUMENTS
Vouchers, final itinerary and all supporting documents will be provided after the full payment for the package has been received.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is recommended that at time of booking, you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy of your choice.
Passports and Visas
* Please make sure that you have got your valid passport and entry visa before your entry to Australia. We can send you a free official invitation to assist you to obtain your visa after the reservation deposit is received.
* If your tours contain other countries then Australia, you are requested to check and follow the visa policy of the country you are going to visit at the nearest embassy or consulate.

* Please be sure to check carefully your international and domestic air tickets you purchase so that you are fully aware of the policies of different airline companies.

* To the extent that we are involved in booking air and/or cruise transportation for you, we act as your agent and not as an agent for the airline and/or cruise companies.
* We reserve the right to correct promotional or pricing errors or to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, currency devaluation, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges before we receive your reservation deposit.
* We are not responsible for acts of terrorism, political unrest, war, earthquake, landslide, delay or cancellation of the flights or cruises.
* We are not responsible for any unauthorized extra services that the client requires with the local agent, local guide or the driver temporarily in different cities beyond our confirmed itinerary. Our mission is to provide an exceptional travel experience to every person who travels with us.
